THE TIBA BILA DAWA FOUNDATION

“Healing is not found in a pill, but in the hands, hearts and hope we share with our community”

OUR HISTORY

Founded on 29th February 2020, Tiba Bila Dawa, Swahili for “Treatment without Medication” was born from a life-changing moment in Samburu. While celebrating his leap-year birthday, his daughter’s 6-month milestone, and his grandmother’s 90th, Dr. Hamisi treated a young boy named Prince, who was gravely ill, using Fascial Manipulation®.
That act of compassion inspired the foundation, honoring the strength of the women in Dr. Hamisi’s life.
Since then, we have served marginalized communities across Kenya, offering free mobility clinics, supporting women and girls affected by FGM, early marriage, and teenage pregnancy, and providing care for the elderly, disabled, and accident victims.
From a single rescue in a Maasai village to a nationwide mission, Tiba Bila Dawa continues to bring hope and healing without medication.

IMPACT TO COMMUNITIES

Since 2020, Tiba Bila Dawa Foundation has touched lives across Kenya, bringing healthcare and hope to those who need it most.

Over 500 patients treated through free mobility clinics in Mathare, Majengo, Kibera, Thika, Nanyuki, and Samburu.
21 teen mothers and 33 children empowered through the Namunyak Women Group with safe shelter, education, and skills training.

Lifesaving interventions for children and adults with mobility challenges, disabilities, and accident injuries.

OUR MISSION / COMMUNITY IMPACT

Critical healthcare access for elderly patients in underserved areas.

Advocacy and support for survivors of Female Genital Mutilation (FGM), early marriage, and teenage pregnancy.

Through compassionate, medication-free care, we are breaking barriers to health and creating lasting change in communities that have long been overlooked.
Together, we can bring lasting relief to forgotten communities. The Tiba Bila Dawa movement is more than just a healthcare initiative. It is a call to restore dignity, mobility, and hope to those who have lived too long with preventable pain.
By combining modern Fascial Manipulation® techniques with community empowerment, we are proving that healing does not always come in the form of a pill. Every treatment delivered, every health worker trained, and every partnership formed brings us one step closer to a future where no one is left behind because of where they live or what they can afford.

THE WAY FORWARD

To deepen and sustain our impact, we aim to:

Build strong local partnerships

Build strong local partnerships with clinics, NGOs, and community-based organizations to expand our reach and ensure long-term care for those in need.

Train local health workers in the basics of Fascial Manipulation®, empowering communities to manage and prevent pain without reliance on medication.

Develop mobile outreach units that can travel to even the most remote areas, bringing hope, healing, and education to people who have no access to consistent healthcare.

Secure long-term logistical and funding to support to keep our services running, expand our programs, and invest in sustainable solutions that transform lives for generations.

We cannot achieve this alone. Your involvement, whether through donations, partnerships, volunteer work, or simply spreading the word will help us bridge the gap between suffering and relief.
